A grant has become available for Aboriginal-owned businesses operating in the Shire of Derby / West Kimberley. It is available to new and existing Aboriginal-owned businesses.
Grants are available as:
Services and training grants of up to $25,000 to cover non-capital business establishment or growth costs, such as insurance costs, business accreditation and training.
Equipment and assets grants of up to $100,000 to assist with the purchase, leasing or dry hire costs of specialist assets or equipment.

Grant applications will close 31 March 2025 or when funding is fully allocated.
Main Roads has advertised 2x Civil Construction Apprenticeships based in Derby and Kununurra. Anyone who is interested can drop by the Derby office to enquire or apply via the jobswa website.
